Animal Care Assistant at the Dick Vet Easter Bush Campus. 30 hours over 4 days, fixed term role for 12 months (maternity cover). The Scottish Enduro Series are offering £50/day expenses for volunteers to help set up and marshall the event on 31 May and 1 June at the Golfie, Innerleithen. Details on the application form which includes dates for Laggan, Ballo and Ae later in the year.

Social Security Scotland are recruiting a Client Support Advisor to support clients in the Scottish Borders. The info says “The Client Support Advisor role will involve travel across the assigned location in which you are based, working from multiple locations in the local community. Client Support Advisors will split their time supporting clients in their own home or via outreach visits at Local Delivery Partnership offices or other agreed community locations.” £32k- £35k, apply by 27 May. Mel who runs mobile catering service Brew 52 (based in Penicuik) is looking for help “Would suit someone who is a student or not in full time employment”. Work is mostly at weekends and own transport is essential. (Added 10/5)
PS If you work at home and fancy a home-delivered lunch any day, Brew 52 come to Peebles on Tuesday and Thursday and the food is great. Menus are posted on their FB page each week.
